♡ Leave Second Skin/Derm Shield/Saniderm on for 3 days

♡ If wrap starts to leak any fluids or peel up to where the tattoo is exposed, take the wrap off (even if it hasn’t been 3 days yet - it’s not doing its job anymore!)

♡ When taking the wrap off, remove in the shower or under running water and peel a corner up and away like you would a command strip

♡ Once it’s removed, gently wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap and warm water - no scrubbing/washcloths/loofas/etc.

♡ Pat dry with a clean towel

♡ Once dry, moisturize tattoo with any lightweight unscented lotion - only use a small amount, you don’t want the tattoo to look wet or shiny, you just want it to be moisturized

♡ Repeat the cleaning and lotioning process 2-3 times a day, for around 2 weeks

♡ Leave plastic wrap on for 2 hours max, it can be removed early if preferred

♡ Once tattoo is unwrapped, do not wrap it again during the healing process - at most it can be covered with loose clothing if necessary (nothing too tight)

♡ After removing the plastic wrap gently wash your tattoo with unscented antibacterial soap and warm water - no scrubbing/washcloths/loofas/etc.

♡ Pat dry with a clean towel

♡ Once dry, moisturize tattoo with any lightweight unscented lotion - only use a small amount, you don’t want the tattoo to look wet or shiny, you just want it to be moisturized

♡ Repeat the cleaning and lotioning process 2-3 times a day, for around 2 weeks

♡ Healing a tattoo typically takes about 2 weeks, although some tattoos can take longer if they are larger or have more solid areas of ink

♡ Do not submerge your tattoo underwater while healing (swimming, baths, hot tubs)

♡ Aviod excessive sun exposure on your healing tattoo

♡ Aviod excessive sweating while your tattoo is healing

♡ Do not pick, itch, or scrub healing tattoos

♡ Only use unscented products on your tattoo while healing

♡ Unscented Soaps: Dove sensitive skin, Dial gold

♡ Unscented Lotions: Lubriderm, Aveeno, Cetaphil, Cerave

♡ Tattoo Specific Aftercare brands: Tattoo Goo, Hustle Butter, Mad Rabbit, Recovery
